Description

On behalf of my team, I would like to invite you to our first Quarterly Drinks networking evening of 2015.

Now in its third year, this must-attend series of invitation-only events brings together senior wind industry decision makers working in global finance, investment and development. The first event takes place on Thursday 19th March, from 5.30pm - 9.30pm.

We're delighted to annouce our Q1 Q&A guest speaker is Carol Gould, Head of Power and Renewables at the Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi. Carol will be participating in a 20 minute Q&A session to give an insight into how innovative financing models can drive growth in renewables, and the role international investment plays in regional growth.

Carol has vast experience in financing renewable and thermal power projects, having advised and led projects in the UK and beyond. Recently, Carol has been focused on the Lincs UK offshore, Lynn and Inner Downsing offshore, and Glenn of Foundland onshore wind farms.

We're all set for another fantastic evening of networking and topical discussion, so RSVP today! Places are limited and offered on a first come first served basis. Will we see you there?

WHY OUR EVENTS ARE DIFFERENT

A Word About Wind has a community of 6,500 leaders in the wind industry. Every year, we bring together the industry's most influential players at our Financing Wind conferences and Wind Investment Awards.

At most other events, you're lucky to catch a glimpse of industry leaders through a crowd. Not ours. We cap attendance at 300 people, so not only can you find the people you need, but you actually have time to talk to them too.

This means you'll be able to speak to those industry leaders – building relationships and sharing your expertise. It means your next email won’t be ignored. You'll benefit from a stronger sales pipeline and greater trust in your company.

You can also focus on finance, an area neglected by most of the renewable energy press. You'll be able to meet people who don’t do big trade shows. And in the current climate, these relationships could be more vital than ever.

So what are you waiting for? Get in touch with our team today to make sure you are at Financing Wind and the Wind Investment Awards.

As a bonus, attendance means you also get access to our archive of newsletters, reports and virtual events – as well as editorial profile-raising opportunities available to all A Word About Wind members.
